Drone

“Drone” in Mix Media is an abstract sculptured painting made up of recycled materials which depicts the ill effects of Global Warming to the earth, both in land, water, and air. Brown paper bags and discarded egg carton trays were used in this art piece to depict the different islands which are affected by the current climate change. This painting was created for the public’s awareness to help preserve the environment and to protect Mother Nature.

The painting is a market scene that tell a short story the people of Anambra state of Nigeria, who generally know as traders and their trading life style, while the bridge depicts the gate way to the city and its link to the western Nigeria.

Two birds in love who live deep in the Swedish forest. The Swedish forests are available for anyone even the private forests. People can walk or jog in all the forests and even in winter they can ski there. The only rule is to take care of the nature and not destroy anything. I painted this watercolor from the forest in my neighborhood and tried to get the light and dark different colors for the impression of the very nice nature in Sweden. 

Why do I love to paint watercolour? I find it so exciting because you can use a lot of different techniques. How you get the colour drain on the paper and also how different colours blend together in a way that you not can rule over yourselves makes the pictures not so exact and more live. I often like to use bright colours in my paintings. I will be inspired by anything as I find exciting to paint especially what stands out in colour or shape both from the nature and from people that I meet. During the years 2000 to 2019 I have participated in many semester/week courses for various established artists in Germany, Sweden and Malta. I have illustrated 3 poetry books and joined many exhibitions both in Sweden and in other countries. I give lessons in watercolor techniques.

My work is on one of the most revered Sindhi items called dabki which we call (small Basket). If I talk about its importance, it is very less. What is the significance of this object in Sindhi culture and what materials are used in it? This item is used as a bread holder in homes. This item is made from the stem of wheat flower. When the wheat harvest starts with the thresher. After that, our old women go to the fields and collect garbage from which they make things. And it is cut into small pieces by machine. For plastering houses, it is mixed with mud which is used in plaster work. The houses are covered by this process. And the pollution spreading in the society can also be avoided. And this thing is used in other works too. But I only use it as my art. Because now this thing is disappearing from our society day by day. Because of which I use this object in my drawing. And make it so that it remains relevant.

The whole world is connected. One must be ready to jump and move ،Thoughts grow  even if the body is limited Even at this time and period of global disease, When this cloth and this mask are removed, the beautiful mind remains (The stone is a sign of hardship and strength and patience in the face of adversity. The golden cloth is like the rays of the sun of truth, and the green cloth is life and hope. 
Difficulties humans are in the form of a locking needle attached to the ground. Human with a mask can even be the best with a beautiful inside. Fish is a sign of life and movement and dynamism.

Red 1 is a work from the artist's "Special works" collection. A work that symbolizes and remains as a trace of the performance art with the same title. The artist uses the drape she wore during the performance and transforms it into a work of art.

Filippo  Papa  was  born  in  Leonforte  (EN)  on  10/24/1986,  he  demonstrates  eclecticism  and versatility ranging from photography, performance, graphic design, international cultural promotion, video art and installations, painting and writing. Among the most emblematic solo exhibitions in the world: Treanime in 2012, Archai in 2016, Il Canto della Pietra in 2017, Aqua in 2018, Contrasto & Contesto in 2019, Pathos/Mathos in 2021 and Omniscient in 2022. He has received numerous awards,  recognitions  and  intercontinental  publications.  In  2012,  a  photo  of  him  was  globally featured on the Vogue website. In 2014 and 2016, his works were published in the television program "Tgr Mediterraneo"- Rai 3, visible in Italy and abroad. In 2020/21 Papa was included among  an  elite  of  world-renowned  artists:  "protagonisti  dell’Atlante  dell’Arte  Contemporanea" published by the historic De Agostini publishing house and the prestigious "56th Catalogo dell’Arte Moderna" published by Giorgio Mondadori.
In 2022 he won the "Premio Italia per la fotografia" awarded by the Biennale Internazionale d’arte di Asti.

He was also awarded the "Award of High Merit in Performing Art" given by the jury of the Premio Intercontinentale di letteratura "Le Nove Muse" for his international commitment to artistic innovation in this area. In this regard, he creates the unprecedented technique of the "Skin Collage" which he applies for the first time worldwide in the performance art "Le poesie delle Muse". This performative event is part of the artistic series created together with the poet Joan Josep Barcelo called "Performance Art & Poetry" or the creation of performance art that unites the body  with  words  and  poems.  Papa  and  Barcelo  study  the  expression  of  art  through  new technologies. They inaugurate for the first time worldwide the performance art entitled "Poetry Box" which   began   already   in   2021   and   perfected   during   2022.   They   invent   the   neologism "Holoperformace" which represents the creation of performative events with the presence of real and holographic performers, their first Holoperformace is “Regeneration” guests of the “Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani” in Venice. At the same time Filippo Papa presents the personal exhibition of a photographer with Barcelo's poems entitled "Omniscient" by publishing the homonymous catalog published by Edizioni Setteponti.
In   2023   the   collaboration   with   Barcelo   continues   by   inventing   a   new   neologism   the "Metaperformance" and they create the first live art performance in the world in the "Metaverse" entitled "Eros Captivity". Thanks to his artistic commitment he receives the "Special Art and Poetry Award" conferred on him by the jury of the Premio Intercontinentale di letteratura "Le nove Muse" in Naples and is chosen to represent the artists of the prestigious "Accademia Tiberina" formerly Pontifical in Rome at the "Menotti Art Festival”

Crayfish are also considered an invasive predatory species, endangering native European species. In several countries, native species of crayfish and water animals and sweet water fish are under threat by imported species. But once caught and cooked, the cook can make a delicious food artwork of the combination of the cooked crayfish and salad.  So it is an ecological way to safe the native fish and water plants.

Statement :

I live in Dronten, Flevoland* since 1992. It is a “50 years young” part of The Netherlands, mostly an agriculture polder. My home is built on the old sea bottom 4 meters below sea level. *The Flevo polder is my studio, there is a lot of beauty to enjoy, A lot of my work comes from this area. 
I’m retired as audio-visual designer at the Wageningen University. My work was graphic/photographic design, photography and making videos to support research; 
My scientific clients ask: “can you make a video… or a photo reportage of…”?, my answer “yes I can”… their relieved response: Ok, go on!, so free as a bird I can use my artistic skills to finish the job. So, I made hundreds of short innovation interview videos and photo reportages.
- I’m also a photographer with free work. My home surrounding is my studio. I’m a humanist and like to travel, meet other cultures; so I made a lot of photographs too. - - I’m also a documentary filmmaker. Some examples, I produced a documentary “C’est la Vie”, (“That’s life”) about the social living of the Dogon in Mali. 
- I made a documentary “Social (M)eating” about a Dutch/Portuguese cook and his crew preparing a meal for 500 guests on an outside dinner festival at a 120 meters long table, with music, theatre and fun. (https://cutt.ly/xiyzv4b)

In my documentary photography work I sometimes use creative but minimal Photoshop modifications. This results in an almost undetectable de-realization. 
A slightly deforming filter does not show reality but it does provide a clear image of the object. Other characteristics are bright colors, detail photos and combinations of photos. 
As artist I’m active in different national and international art projects, often involved in the organization of all, so I met a lot of artists from all over the world.

Gabriela Abud : 
Mexican artist of Lebanese descent.  Her style is figurative with an impressionist  tendency,  in  technique  of  oil, acrylic and  in  the watercolor technique too. The human figure is her favorite theme, specially  the  nude  and  the  portrait,  where  she  finds  enormous personal  satisfaction,  but  she  knows  that  is  a  great  commitment, since achieving expression on faces, is a challenge.
As a visual artist she has 47 SOLO EXHIBITIONS, three of them made in Beirut, Lebanon; the itinerant in the State of Florida, USA at the invitation of the Consulate of Mexico in Orlando, Florida etc.

She has participated in more than 160 GROUP EXHIBITION, in the Mexican  republic  and  aboard,  like  L’Amerique  Latine  in  Monaco; Arona, Italy; Cusco, Perú; Antofagasta, Chile; etc.  Her work has been selected twice for the International Art Biennale in Beijing, China in addition  to  the  International  Biennials  of  Viña  del  Mar,  Chile; Vinarós,  Valencia,  Spain;  St.  Petersburg,  Russia  and  the  First National Biennale Master Luis Nishizawa in México.
Gabriela obtained the Tlacuilo Prize (First Place) twice, in addition Honorable  Mention  in  the  National  Salon  of  Alfredo  Guati  Rojo National Watercolor Museum  of  México. In  2018  receives recognition as a Naucalpense Celebrity by the Constitutional City of Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico, by the municipal president. Her professional activity includes teaching.

Decentralize the balance point. This work seeks to understand balance from another point of view, showing that sometimes it is not in the middle of things. A work included in the Soy Ideal series, which analyzes the human desire to achieve the unattainable and how this career ironically allows us to advance.

 This is Gaurav Kumar Sinha, visual artist from India. I have been working in the field of art for last 8 years. I have got opportunity to exhibit my artworks in many national and International platforms. I am also honored to participate in BIEAF. I am Thankful to you for this opportunity. In this painting I mentioned global warming and it's effect. Water is becoming scarcer in more regions of world. Warmer temperatures over time are changing weather patterns are disrupting the usual balance of nature. This poses many risk to human beings and all other forms of life on earth. Through This painting I show the drought field and some thirsty sparrow who are in search of water, but they found only few droplets on the new plant. This is not sufficient but they are very hopeful to catch the droplets for survival of life otherwise all will be go for die. The same condition would be with all of us too without water. So we have to go with green.

On a very hot summer afternoon I was thinking about the reddened sun that was in front of me, I took some brushes and some watercolors that I had stored somewhere. I began to mix them with water, obtaining three parts: the sunset, the firmament, a tree and a mountain of plants. Very simple, but I liked it, as I hope everyone likes it.
