It represents the Galapagos tortoise and its fauna, which must be taken care of since it is a World Heritage Site, and the seabed must be taken care of and garbage, plastic bottles and other garbage objects must be eliminated, where objects are attached to collage way.

My work has been an amalgamation of Indian themes which are so aptly fused with contemporary style of execution. The familiar yet so abstract depiction of figures truly evoke the feeling of oneness when  you see the series. In my most recent series, you come across Ardhanarishwar but with a twist. My work brilliantly related the current scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic and combined it with the age-old theme. These drawings of Ardhanarishwar killing the corona virus have sculptural vigour and aesthetic sensibility.

Göknil  Gümüş Sungurtekin    /    Turkey

Fikret Mualla is a world famous Turkish expressionist painter. Artist  Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin gave a very large place to his art in her thesis. Because she believes this artist is an invaluable expressionist who suffers existential and vital for his art. Despite the his pain, we see the vibrant and cheerful colors of life in his paintings. Fikret Mualla writes the following lines to a friend in his biography: “I could not find a cozy house in Istanbul or Paris. These lines inspired Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin to paint this painting. She made this painting out of respect for this great artist. Maybe she could not give him a house, but he could give him an imaginary street where the entrance to the opera named Semiha Berksoy, which he loved, was opened.  In this painting, Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin tells Fikret Mualla's loved ones, what happened in his life or what she saw and her longing for his country. This painting is an expression of the respect she has as a young expressionist for the master artist for his inspiration.Fikret Mualla loves  wine in a basket newspaper and red carnations, so the figure symbolizing his friend writer Fikret Adil set out to take them to Fikret Mualla. Famous painter Fikret Mualla cannot pay the account at the famous Dumm Cafe and is fired from there.

In Fikret Mualla's paintings, we often see balloons, monkeys and families. All of them express their longing for their childhood and family, especially his mother, who died from the Spanish Flu. The portrait we see in the background hangs on the opera wall dedicated to the poster of his platonic lover Semiha Berksoy. Mualla calls the ignorant in another poster "Leblebici". Cigarette ashtray is always full ... Frankly, Fikret Mualla always expects Semiha Berksoy to love him. The young women in the middle are the lovers of Fikret Mualla and these love never happened.  The humorous woman on the right symbolizes the carefree side of Fikret Mualla and flies the balloons on Fikret Mualla street to touch his soul in her own dream.

The universe is an organic system that lives from the smallest microorganisms to the largest macro organisms. Atoms, energies, magnetic fields, organisms, all living things that we can see and cannot see; It coexists with its vital cycles. Therefore, the high creative mind of the infinite elements of eternity gives us. Creative mind presents all this to us in an aesthetic way. The subjective conditions in aesthetics are in mind, and the objective conditions are the conditions that should be sought in nature. The human anatomy, which has reached the highest value with the combination of various organs, is an aesthetic entity with an organic beauty. When the artist is tackling with the subject, he uses images and documents through subjective intelligence. He reshapes his thoughts about that moment by using the elements of the universe. In this work, the expression and posture of the figure are accompanied by microscopic alives, turquoise water, wooden ship fragments, raw fabric textures, jewelry in primitive style. The artist presents his painting objectively by making use of the depths of his inner and outer world.

Recognition of women means the modernity of women's space in displaying beauty and courage, every woman must have a career and desires that are the same as men, there is no difference in the meaning of gender in today's modern life.

Memory of childhood with nature III : Ink on paper with water color. 
In my drawing I try to capture and preserve such moments from the treasure of my childhood memories with nature. These drawing take me back to my childhood. I relive those golden moments. Frogs have always fascinated me the most. Its Joy full movement connects me with the carefree nature of a child. Just like an innocent child who is untouched by the complications of life, spends his time playing and enjoying freely, I show frogs hopping and playing the childhood plays in my drawings.

Representing the magic and mysticism of my indigenous country through the existence of the ancestral witches and sorcerers of my land who used to turn themselves into animals to do good but also in some other darker cases to bring and do bad, a part of Mexico you an find fascinating but also terrifying.
