THE. INTANGIBLE. HERITAGE. MOROCCAN. IN ITS. SPLENDOURS. Feast of prose, affinities and dreams, sometimes mythical and sometimes close to nature, the works of the young artist. Ayoub ElMoudden affirm and confirm themselves.
In the pictorial universe of this self-taught, who. lives and works in Casablanca, embrace macules, brutalities, friendships, starwork and. imprints of Moroccan culture. However, he continues his discoveries made of. metamorphoses, jolts and incandescences where the meshes of his immense. net.. Kindness and trust are common in Ayoub. They are easily discovered. The inner heat is. combines the lights and glare that he displays in his work. Undoubtedly, this evokes a vision. unique and completely personal, and not just accidents. It’s about highlighting heritage. immaterial Moroccan in all its splendors and to protect the Moroccan culture, in its most sense. Otherwise, according to the artist, it is all of us, Moroccans and citizens of the world. who have everything to lose by seeing them disappear. Like a magician, this winner of the Prize for the best young Arab artist, neo-realism section, held. recently in London, creates often surprising compositions full of poetry, but always mesmerizing. It. appears with this series as an artist who takes pleasure in painting as evidenced by the coulures of the. material and the changes of rhythm in the gestuality: sometimes weighted and sober, sometimes lyrical and unleashed. Il. develops variations on a theme like a musician. The musical element, taken up in different aspects,. is the Moroccan heritage, but it is still recognizable despite its multiple variations.
This is a picture of a rural scenery of quiet morning with snow mountain characteristic of Nepal, exhibited in the artist's fifth solo exhibition "Travel and Memories". It is to express both the sunshine border and its subtleties. The former reveals the difference between nature represented by snow mountain and human society represented by roofs. The latter, the reconciliation between two.

I am a painter born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1960. I have a creative profession as a leisure educator. I always enjoyed drawing and painting and I am an self-taught painter.
In 2006 I came in contact with Vedic Art. It has meant a lot to my development as a painter, and since then I have tried to create more space for painting in my life. I love being in the process, I play with color and shapes and the pictures appear gradually, and the motives often surprices me.
Vedic Art is a method for creation. We create to express ourselves, it is a human need. The method helps us to remember what we already know, and to believe in our own ability to create. We are nature and create intuitively like nature does. The technology that we need for our personal expression, we gradually conquer when we paint. We relate to painting with a focus on presence and joy. Then the images appears to me, buy playing with color and movement. The motifs are there, I see them and pick them out. It's about a special vision, and a feeling for what the picture is really about, what is important for me to paint.

DORIDORI
Cement 70x60x90cm 2022
DORIDORI is the Korean onomatopoeia term for “shake shake”. We tend to shake our heads when we feel something is not right or feel disappointed. And my piece DORIDORI is a image of Buddha shaking his head toward the fucked up world.
Buddha is known as the founder of Buddhism who is revered as a fully enlightened being. I wanted to criticize and satire the modern world about what we are going through. People's greed toward others is getting more and more uncontrollable. I hear so many incidents that I cannot even figure out what is going on. I see no humanity these days.
