“Rise”, painted by artist Thu Nguyen in 2022 is a painting about environment. 
Jellyfish have been in existence for at least 500 million years.  Jellyfish is a symbol of flexibility, adaption, survival ability.  It is a metaphor for human's adaption to environment change. We have to change, to act for the environment. Jellyfish are beautiful and fascinating creatures rising from deep see to water. However, increased sightings of jellyfish signal the rise in sea temperatures due to climate change.

Thu Anh Nguyen 
is an artist painter born in Hanoi, Vietnam, living and working in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Born in an artistic family, her mother and grandfather are well known Vietnamese artists. She developed her skills from an early age and later graduated from Vietnam University of Fine Arts with a Bachelor degree. As a young female contemporary artist, she has accomplished numerous  international exhibitions with the  participation of many international artists.  Notable, Thu’s artworks have been exhibited in Venice and other cities in Italy, Paris, Cusco (Peru), USA, Hungary,etc and in her home city Hanoi, along with many exhitions online.

The flowers are drawn with many polygonal shapes with varying color shades. If we don't protect the environment, the world can easily get hurt and need healing. The polygon pieces are prisms, people's views of the world. Those are also variables that can happen to nature based on human attitudes and behaviors, how we change to eco, so that humans and nature harmonize. Besides acrylic material, newspaper is used to create a variety of surfaces and colors. Using recycled materials to create art is also my voice to change to eco.

Climate change causes weather, rainfall, wind patterns difficult to predict, areas with climatic characteristics became uncategorize. Humans, plants, animals and the food chain are affected and potentially extinct. The human body, whose DNA is designed to survive in a certain climate,  suddenly exposed to extreme weather that impacts its entire ecosystem. Will we survive or allow ourselves and our entire civilization to perish? Are there any efforts to maintain the sustainability of our planet and build a better and friendlier life order? Or will I, you, us be the last humans freezing in the middle of the tropics?

Tiarma Sirait 
is an exciting Bandung-based painter & fashion artist who is presenting visually provocative & thought-provoking paintings, installations, performances, textiles & fashions questioning all the conventional wisdoms both of the East & West.
She began to study painting from the Indonesian senior artist: Barli Sasmitawinata when she was in Junior High School. In 1994, she graduated from Faculty of Art & Design Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). In 1997, she started her own Private studio; ‘Poleng Studio’. Her  painting,  photography  &  fashion  performance  has  been  acknowledged  by  many international arts institutions & she has intensively participated more than 400 exhibitions in many  domestics  & overseas  exhibitions and  has  received many  astonishing  awards  in Creativity Designs & Art Awards from many countries.

We live in a world where human beings seeks for peace without thinking about what they need to constitute before acquiring it.
The Ecological sphere is a model for understanding the structures which facilitates tranquility, often can be discovered from nature. Obviously, the world is a safe place to live, but, the absence of loyalty or truth has brought unpeaceful coexistence among individuals and nations.

This Photography piece depicts the interrelationship that occurs among people in the society. Using a market scene as a case study, I can attest to the fact that no man can live in isolation.
Thus, we need to live in truth so as to enable peaceful co-existence, which will facilitate a change to Eco.

Further, to enable a friendly environment, man must try to change his conscience positively.

My work has always had a message and purpose behind it. Whether it was to speak about the current environmental issues, or to raise awareness and educate my audience on a certain issue, I have always had a clear vision for my work.  This painting and series though, is very different in approach.  
Instead of starting the process with a message, I began with a goal: to have a calm mind while creating. With that goal, my mentality and state of mind became the art itself.  
The background is an ink blot. Although done the same way, each drop is different and unique. Starting the painting with that simple awareness helped me begin my process. Then came the paint strokes. I chose to challenge myself by using the Chinese brush and ink. The precision is very important to the aesthetic of the painting, and only a steady hand and clear mind can handle this task. The repetition of the strokes served as a form of meditation, which helped slow my mind down. My mind became more clear and creative, the strokes became natural and effortless, and the outcome of the final painting was peaceful and empowering.

Carroll CW Tsang 
is a creator born in Hong Kong. She was awarded the Visual Art Intelligence Professional Certificate (DALA Decoupage South Africa), the Deco Clay Craft Academy Deco Clay Instructor Certificate from Japan, and Certificate Zentangle Teacher (Chinese Zentangle Association CZA). 
She won the "2022 Brilliant Art Achievement Award - Gold Award" and “Best of Show Award” from New York Vision Art Media and in 2023, she was selected for the "100 Female Artists in the World" by Vision Art Media in New York.
Her works have been entered in many exhibitions in Hong Kong and overseas, and have been collected by overseas art galleries, museums and private collections.

In this painting I have shown the beauty of Nature and this establish coordination between Human and Nature. This Beauty of nature encourage us to groom and protect the Nature. 

I am creating and exploring and representing Indian Culture with positive vibes and beauty of nature. I have participated in National and International Exhibition around the world including USA, Peru, China, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, Turkey, Italy, Iran and South Korea. And many more Exhibitions and workshop.

Hope takes to the sky. Art knows no boundaries, no limits. In order to save the world, and all its' inhabitants, we need to think in new ways, and in new directions, expanding and exploring. Hope, knowledge and imagination blend, thus creating new possibilities, new prospects, new opportunities. This image of Hope as a dancing movement, symbolizes this process as it is growing and developing. 

Vicki Svedrell, 
was born in 1960, in Malmö, Sweden, and is currently living in Ystad, a town on the southcoast of Sweden. 
Vicki started painting as a child, and has begun painting again as an adult, (after an interval, caused by a stroke, that made her partially visually impaired), whereupon she has been studying for several various Swedish artists, like e g Rikard Vakil, an artist that has created some of the diplomas for the Nobel Prize, as well as Emma Karp Lundström, who is a famous Swedish painter, known for her large scale outdoor paintings made of various fruits, like e g apples, at Kivik, a village on the southeast of Sweden.  
Vicki Svedrell is a member of The Swedish Artists' Organization, The Visually Impaired Artists' and Artisans’ Organization, as well as The Nordic Watercolour Society. Her works have been exhibited throughout Sweden, Spain, USA and Italy. Vicki Svedrell's art is held in private collections through Sweden.

water water everywhere... 

Water is a key source of life. Our environment is water everywhere too. We can flow like water, or crash like waves during a storm. Water is powerful and water gives life. 

Wendy is from Singapore. 
It is in the last decade that Wendy picked up her paint and brushes again. Through drawing, it helped her in better self expression and she also uses this media to run workshops to help others rediscover their passions in life. 
Wendy's works have been exhibited in various parts of the world. Formerly trained in graphic design, she paints intuitively and her works are mainly abstracts, using acrylic on canvas.  She is also currently experimenting with digital art as she is running out of storage space to keep her canvases at home...
Her dream is to have her own solo exhibition one day. 

In this Digital Artwork, the composition is based on highlighting the central figure made up of three vases of different sizes and superimposed on each other, in order to create a balanced and harmonious composition, the intention is to use the texture achieved through experimenting with combinations with a rough and smooth appearance that with the mixture of brown, orange and blue colors create a sensation of rusty metal with a clay appearance, a result that has been conducive to creating the shapes of these three vases, highlighting them through a volume effect but also blending them in turn with the background to create a mysterious sensation in the work.

RELATIONSHIP OF THE WORK WITH THE ENVIRONMENT.

The relationship of this artistic work of abstract figurative style with the environment is manifested through the use of color.
The background is dark brown with touches of blue and orange, dark brown can evoke the idea of earth, soil or organic matter, while blue and orange can remind of water and fire, respectively, and The air is present through the touches of light, reflected in the work. These colors can represent the four basic elements that make up the natural world: earth, water, air and fire.
On the other hand, vases symbolize a way of taking care of the resources that the environment gives us, since these are used daily to conserve water, and some foods such as; grains, wheat, rice and also fruits and plants.

The face is divided in two . One half is female, the other is a man. In just one body everyone can experiment the duality and the  doub in the sexual life. 

Art has always been my medicine: from depression, sadness, disappointment... Recently my mom died... Huge pain and sadness became my everyday life.  The only way to occasionally forget the ugly reality is to paint.  The colors bring me back to the world of beauty and happiness.  I also do portraits... While I draw people, I send them with my heart and soul positive thoughts and the wish that they be happy...and never experience an accident and war, like me.  I have great empathy for animals. There are two things I regret: 1. I don't have my own studio.  2. I don't have the space to house all the animals that need help. As for my success in the world of art, I am grateful to God and my late parents who raised me to be humane, persistent and grateful for everything God has given me.  Without these qualities, you will never be appreciated and respected -- said my mother.  I try never to disappoint them.  Of course, I am very grateful to all my fellow artists for their great support.  May God protect us all.
